Ingredients:
? Kg Dried Fish
A lemon sized Tamarind
? Kg Small Onion chopped
10 nos garlic flakes
4 Tomatoes Chopped
2 tbsp Chilly Powder
1 tbsp Coriander seed powder
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
? tsp Fennel Seeds
? tsp Pepper
A few Curry leaves
? tsp Turmeric Powder
Oil for frying.
Method:
Wash the fish with oil and cut into pieces and fry in a little oil.
Soak tamarind in hot water and extract.
Add water to tamarind extract and keep aside.
Grind chillily powder, Coriander seeds and fennel seeds using a little water.
Heat oil in a pan and add fennel seeds and curry leaves, add onions and saut?.
Add garlic, tomatoes and ground masala powder and cook till the oil comes out.
Add the tamarind water and mix well and boil.
Add the fish and allow to boil. When thick add salt if necessary.
