Ingredients:
? Kg Fish
15 nos Red chilies
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
2 tsp Fennel Seeds
2 tsp Khus khus
200 gms Small Onion chopped
10 nos Garlic flakes
2 nos Tomatoes chopped
Small Lemon Sized Tamarind
? tsp Turmeric Powder
A few Curry Leaves.
Salt to Taste
3 tbsp Oil
? tsp Mustard
? tsp Urad Dhal
? tsp Fenugreek
? tsp Fennel Seeds
Method:
Clean the fish well and cut into finger like pieces.
Grind Red chilly, Coriander seeds and khus khus into a fine paste.
Heat a pan, add curry leaves, mustard, urad dhal, fenugreek and Fennel Seeds and fry well.
Add onion and Garlic ad saut?. Add masala.
When the oil comes out, add tomatoes, when soft add tamarind extract and 300 ml water, add ? tsp turmeric powder and allow it to boil.
When it is ready it will become thick. Then add fish slices and allow it to boil for 10 minutes.
