Curd Rice – South Indian

Ingredient

2 Cups Rice
2 cups Milk
2 tbsp Curd
2 nos Green chillies
2 nos Dried red chilly
1 tsp Mustard seeds
A few Curry leaves
1 inch ginger
Little Finely chopped cucumber
1 tbsp oil

Method:
Wash the rice and while boiling the rice add a pinch of salt
Once boiled strain it well.
Meanwhile, warm the milk and mix curd into it.
Then pour the mixture on the rice and mix well.
Keep this in a warm place for five or six hours.
Heat oil,add mustard seeds, curry leaves, ginger , chopped green and red chillies in it.
Fry it for a minute and add this to the rice.
Serve cold, decorated with coriander leaves, chopped cucumber slices.
