Ingredients:
2 – Big onions
1/4 kg – small potatoes
1 cup – curds
salt – to taste
2 Tbl.sps – oil or ghee
3 – cardamoms
1/4 tsp – turmeric powder
Grind together:
1 bunch – coriander leaves
5 flakes – garlic
5 – green chillies
1 – onion
1 inch piece – cinnamon
2 – cloves
Method:
Cook potatoes in pressure cooker. Peel the skin and keep aside. Cut onions into fine pieces.
Heat ghee in a frying pan, add cardamom fry for a minute and add cut onions. When it becomes
translucent add ground masala and fry till ghee separates from it in a low flame. Mix curds, salt and
turmeric powder to that and keep frying till ghee separates once again. Add peeled potatoes and fry till done,
sprinkling water in between. This curry should be dry. Serve hot garnished with lime pieces.
