Ingredients:
Grated fresh coconut – 1/2 cup
Roasted gram – 1/4 cup
red chillies – 10
Tomatoes (cut finely) – 1/4 kg
Onions chopped – 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – as required
Oil – for frying
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
Method:
Grind coconut, roasted gram, red chillies to coarse paste with little water.
Add Chopped tomatoes and grind to coarse chutney like consistency.
Heat oil separately in a kadai, add mustard seeds and chopped onion.
Fry till golden add ground paste with enough salt.
When becomes thick chutney consistency, remove from fire.
