Ingredients:
1 – cauliflower big
1 cup shelled – peas
2 – onions
2 Tbl.sps – oil or ghee
Grind together:
1 – onion big
3 medium sized – tomatoes
1/2 tsp – gatam masala powder
21/2 tsp – sambar powder
salt – as required
sugar – optional
1/2 scraped – coconut
Method:
Cut onions into thin long pieces. Grind the masala and keep aside.
Clean and wash the
cauliflower thoroughly. Boil cauliflower in enough salted water.
Heat ghee in a pan add 1/4 tsp of cumin seeds, when it splutters add sliced onions, and fry. When it turns
into golden brown colour, add ground masala and fry well till oil separates from it. Now add
boiled cauliflower with enough water to cover. When the gravy becomes thick remove
and serve hot, garnished with cut coriander leaves.
